What a Dream

Felt like Gabe and I were good, we were sitting on the floor and got on the topic of working out and he brought up that she wants to join in our work outs.  I asked how she could think that's okay, how he could think that's okay and the feeling of losing him became greater than ever.  He just shrugged and acted like it shouldn't matter.

While I'm finding the words to say to Gabe for even bringing that up, across the hallway from the room we were in (felt like my room) was the back yard entrance and three guys came in, I didn't know who they were so I confronted them and one of the guys (the boss) asked if I was Sonny.  I told him I was his daughter but was able to straighten everything out, the two men (a black student with facial hair and a white student with a hard hat) introduced themselves but I couldn't hear what they were saying.  The black student asked if my name was Nicole as we shook hands.  The three guys start moving along into the house and said something like they needed something with an address but go to what looked like a microwave on the edge of the counter and look at that.

As I turn away from them I go to the front yard where Hannah is sitting and see Gabe's gold Dodge Ram driving away.  I don't remember saying anything to Hannah, only that her reaction was one of indifference.  I call Gabe and ask why he left and he said he just had to, end conversation.

After that I start feeling alone again and dad calls, saying he called over the fire department because he wasn't sure when I would leave, as he's telling me this I can see the lights and the truck pull up in the back yard.  A guy comes out of the truck, Argos takes off into the backyard and I'm telling dad to hang on real quick so I can send the guys away.  The guy is cool, I can't hear what he's saying but he gestures a lot, then they take off.  I call Argos back (who looks like Spunky) and find that behind the truck the sprinkler is on in the lawn, which I took it to be something dad did before he left.

I get back on the phone after Argos is inside and ask dad how long it takes to get over a boy.  He doesn't respond.  I figure he can't give me an answer so I tell him I love him and I'll let him go, he tells me he loves me back and I wake up.

I didn't like this dream.  I woke up worried and panicky.  I woke up feeling more abandoned than I have recently.  I feel like I went backwards than forwards in my progress.
